Professors

Dr. Jay Clark

Jay’s background is filled with starting for-profit companies and non-profit organizations in three countries. In 2008, Jay founded The Kerusso Institute for Global Leaders. (formerly Kerusso Foundation, Inc a 501c3 charitable organization based in Dallas, TX.) From his experiences of working in emerging markets around the world, Jay developed the Nextgen Global Leaders Program. This program is for corporations and non-profit organizations that are transforming into global companies and need to identify, train, and manage top talent in order to expand globally.

Jay has PhD in Leadership Studies from Piedmont International University. He earned an MBA from Auburn University (U.S.A.) specializing in managerial leadership, and during his graduate training, he studied at the Czech Management Center in Prague, Czech Republic. The research was on companies doing business in emerging markets. Jay also received a B.S. in Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (U.S.A). Jay is married to Anne, and they have five daughters.

Jay is also the managing director at Nextgen Global Leaders, LTD PTE in Singapore and affiliate faculty at the Johnson University MBA program.

Dr. Wilbur Reid

Wilbur began his career as a financial analyst in large corporations, with a specialty in pricing and margin management. He spent about half of his time travelling throughout the United States as a consultant for small businesses, and around the world providing seminars to other pricing professionals on the best practices of pricing and margin management. After completing his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, he left the corporate world in 2015 to lead the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Johnson University.

Wilbur lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife of 28 years. She is a high school math teacher. They are the proud parents of three daughters, ages 24, 20, and 17. Wilbur is an elder at his church and enjoys a variety of sporting activities.

Dr. Verna Oswana

Currently residing in Florida, Verna is an Associate Professor of Business and Finance at Warner University teaching primarily in the areas of Finance and International Business. She is also an affiliate faculty at Johnson University. She received her DBA in 2011 from Argosy University and prior to that completed an MBA from Warner University. Verna brings over 6 years of expertise in corporate finance, investments, and personal financial planning. Her research interests have included cross-cultural studies in marketing, leadership, and management. She has co-authored articles published in the Atlantic Marketing Journal, Global Business and ManagementResearch, and International Journal of Marketing Studies. Verna who grew up in Kenya in a Christian home has a commitment to inspiring and empowering young girls and women to realize their potential.

Dr. Paul Swamidass

Paul Swamidass, Ph.D. is Professor Emeritus, Harbert College of Business, Auburn University, Auburn, AL, USA. INTEREST: Leadership training for leaders of Christian organizations. He has published some articles on Christian leadership and contributed to some Christian-leadership training in India in partnership with The Kerusso Institute for Global Leaders.

Brad Fraser

Brad lives in Singapore and works for Barclays where he is Head of Agency Derivative Services – Asia. Brad is a banking professional with 17 years of experience in Agency derivatives, business management, project and management roles in the Equities, Prime Services and Capital Markets gained through roles in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea.

John Dulip

John has lived in Ho Chi Minh City for almost two years. Currently he is the Divisional Head, in charge of Sourcing for popular brands Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, for the SE Asia region. He is a distinguished professional in the Textiles and Apparel world, he has nearly 22 years of experience, covering Manufacturing and Sourcing, across India, Indonesia and Vietnam for the global market. Rising from the ranks of a Junior associate, he has held several Senior and Upper Management roles along the way. In his capacity as the Senior Vice-president at Celebrity Fashions, Chennai, India, he was able to lead the company through turbulent times to convert it into a profitable venture.

Apart from being on the Board of Directors at the Hindustan Bible Institute and College, he is also engaged in mentoring, coaching of Executives and conducting leadership training programs through one to one and group sessions.

Blessed with the ability to play Drums, he has been part of several Gospel bands, and currently active as a Resident Drummer for the Church Worship team.

His hobbies, apart from being a musician, also includes playing Cricket, Golf and Tennis. (Certified ICC umpire!)

Mr. Tim Amstutz

Tim is passionate about helping indigenous leaders and organizations in Asia to lead with greater effectiveness and impact. He spent the past 14 years leading the work of World Relief, a Christian international development organization, in Cambodia and across Asia. He brings a deep knowledge and understanding of and experience in Cambodian and Asian cultures to help Christian leaders build healthy, authentic ministries that integrate the gospel and transform communities.

Tim also serves as the Chairman of the Board of KREDIT Microfinance, and helped to develop and strengthen the company from a small NGO program to a large social enterprise improving the economic stability of 100,000 customers and their families. Tim has broad experience working with a variety of organizations and directors, including NGOs, churches, and social enterprises. He is a sought after conference speaker and workshop leader at many conferences in Asia, but his deepest love is in facilitating others in their own development through interactive, participatory group learning activities. He is partnering with Jay in NextGen Global Leaders to help leaders clarify and effectively communicate their vision and values and help them translate their vision and values into effective strategies for strengthening their organizations and transforming communities.

Tim completed his university studies at Wheaton College in the US, and is married with three grown children and two grandchildren.

Joshua Harber

God gave Joshua the gift of faith in His Son at the age of 26. Shortly thereafter, He gave him a clear vocational call to the ministry of fundraising. Since then, Joshua has enjoyed seventeen years of progressively challenging and rewarding experience in fundraising. By grace, he earned a Masters in Public Affairs, with a concentration in Non-Profit Management from Indiana University.

Additionally, he has a Certificate in Fund-Raising from The Lilly Family Center on Philanthropy. Concurrent to his professional work for Wycliffe Bible Translators (wycliffe.org), and many other small-shop development teams, he has consulted with a small number of not-for-profit organizations in the United States, Mexico, Panama, Brazil, Ghana, Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia. Until his recent move to his new home in Papua New Guinea, he also served as Elder for a large, missions-minded church in the United States, College Park Church (yourchurch.org).
