Meet our Executive Director and Board Members:

Dr. Jay Clark

jay profile2Dr. Jay Clark currently lives in the Dallas/Ft. Worth. Jay is married to Anne and they have five daughters. Jay’s background is filled with starting companies, organizations and a church. He has a mixture of academic and practical experience in developing global leaders.

Educational Background:

Jay received his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Tennessee Temple University. He earned an MBA from Auburn University (U.S.A.) with a concentration in leadership, and during his graduate training, he studied at the Czech Management Center in Prague, Czech Republic. The research was on companies doing business in emerging markets. Jay also received a B.S. in Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (U.S.A). He also attended Southwestern Theological Seminary and Dallas Theological Seminary.

Experience:

Jay has lived in five countries on four different continents.  He has traveled around the world consulting, teaching and preaching.  His passion is serving Christ through developing Christ-centered leaders in the emerging world. Currently Jay serves as Executive Director of Kerusso Foundation, Inc.

From over 15 years of consulting experience in the US and an international market, Jay has gained valuable insights on strategy development, management challenges and practices, and leadership development. Jay founded Sun Consulting Services and managed the offices in the U.S. and Hong Kong. Under Jay’s leadership, Sun Consulting was able to be a pioneer in China for the consulting industry by working with a state-owned oil/gas company and a large publicly traded technology company. Jay has developed a network of global partners in Asia, Africa, Europe, India, and the Middle East for Sun Consulting Services. He also opened the SCS office in Hong Kong.

From his experiences of working in emerging markets around the world, Jay developed the Nextgen Global Leaders Program. This program is for corporations and non-profit organizations that are transforming into global companies and need to identify, train, and manage top talent in order to expand globally. Jay has worked with HR departments of both large and small organizations to link their corporate strategy with the leadership development program. Jay specializes in helping firms increase profits with global strategies that include Market Assessments, Market Entry, Global Channel/Distribution Management, Sourcing Products, and Investments.

Coaching Credentials:

Jay is a member of the International Association of Coaches and the International Leadership Association, and he has advised and coached executives and managers in countries such as China, Nigeria, Egypt, India, Cambodia, Jordan, Oman, and Norway.


Tim Gerwing

Tim has over 18 years of experience in technology and operations. A native of Pittsburgh, Tim graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Industrial Management and Information and Decision Systems and has worked for Prudential Financial, KPMG Consulting, Benchmark Financial Network, Atlas Design Group, and Pursuant. Tim has held various leadership positions while working with clients in financial services, health/fitness, real estate, telecommunications, industrial manufacturing, non-profit, legal, construction, hospitality, and politics.

Tim and his wife, Amy, have seven children and have a passion for preserving the life of the preborn.


Brad Fraser

Brad is from Australia. He lives in Singapore and works for Barclays where he is Head of Agency Derivative Services – Asia. Brad is a banking professional with 17 years of experience in Agency derivatives, business management, project and management roles in the Equities, Prime Services and Capital Markets gained through roles in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea.

Brad and wife Nicole have four children and serves in the youth ministry at his church in Singapore.


Matt Baxter

Matt has worked in software for over a decade, designing and creating innovative digital products. He works at Luscinia Health, where he develops software products that help people save money on prescription drugs. He has a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Together, Matt and his wife, Erin, serve in the pre-marital ministry at their church, Bent Tree Bible Fellowship. They have two kids, Isaac and Hallie.


Dr. Verna Omanwa

Currently residing in Florida, Verna is an Associate Professor of Business and Finance at Warner University teaching primarily in the areas of Finance and International Business. She is also an affiliate faculty at Johnson University. She received her DBA in 2011 from Argosy University and prior to that completed a MBA from Warner University. Verna brings over 6 years of expertise in corporate finance, investments, and personal financial planning. Her research interests have included cross-cultural studies in marketing, leadership, and management. She has co-authored articles published in the Atlantic Marketing Journal, Global Business and ManagementResearch, and International Journal of Marketing Studies. Verna, who grew up in Kenya in a Christian home, has a commitment to inspiring and empowering young girls and women to realize their potential.


John Dulip

John lives in Hong Kong working for PVH/ Tommy Hilfiger, after living in South East Asia for close to 6 years. He is a distinguished professional in the Textiles and Apparel world, with nearly 22 years of experience, covering Manufacturing and Sourcing, across India, Indonesia, Srilanka, and Vietnam, for the global market. Rising from the ranks of a Junior associate, he has held several Senior and Upper Management roles along the way. In his capacity as the Senior Vice-president at Celebrity Fashions, Chennai, India, he was able to lead the company through turbulent times to convert it into a profitable venture. 

Apart from being on the Board of Directors at the Hindustan Bible Institute and College, he is also engaged in mentoring, coaching of Executives, and conducting leadership training programs through one to one and group sessions. Blessed with the ability to play Drums, he has been part of several Gospel bands, and currently active as a Resident Drummer for the Church Worship team.  His hobbies, apart from being a musician, also includes playing Cricket, Golf, and Tennis. He is blessed with a wonderful wife Sherene, and a son, Nathaniel who is 15 years old.
